This fine rod is ideal for keeping knives honed with a grit approximately 1200-1800.

Includes a ring for hanging and the handle is crafted from hard rock maple.
The hone becomes clogged over time and therefore needs to be cleaned every now and then with a rough kitchen sponge and some washing-up liquid. Can be used dry or wet.
