A rubberised abrasive block provides an effective means of removing surface rust and brown tarnish from knives , pots, pans etc using water as a lubricant or dry rubbing. FYI this will also remove all the desired patina and black from the blade also and can make a High carbon blade prone to rust quickly again until new patina forms, I recommend oiling blade after use or the rust eraser -
Keep HIgh Carbon blades dry after use to prevent tarnish.
